ELIMISHA NGO

Empowering communities through research, advocacy, and education since 2009.

About Us

Who We Are

ELIMISHA is a Non-Governmental Organization founded by journalists in 2009 and officially registered on 15th April 2010. Our main objective is making Research, Advocacy and Educating the Community through Media and other Methodologies.

ELIMISHA was established through the efforts of journalists in Mbeya who witnessed challenges affecting women, children, youth, persons with disabilities, and the elderly while executing their daily duties in rural communities. Recognizing that media alone could not bridge the gap, they founded this organization to drive sustainable change.
